Marvellous Maps

For Maths this week we have been learning about maps and the information they provide us. Here are some pictures of what we have been doing so far. 

Super Squash!

We have had a great time learning Squash this week. On Monday Mark from  Canterbury Squash came to teach us some skills. We then had fun giving them a go! 

A&P Show

Can you help? Sadly we are short of parent help for our trip to the A&P show coming up on Thursday 13th November. Can you help out with transport to and from the Showgrounds? Please let me know if you can help out. 

Push and pull

We are currently creating some all purpose terrain machines. We will then look at how a terrain can effect the movement and speed of the vehicle. Here are some progress shots.

A big 'thank you' to all of the parents and grandparents who came along to our open afternoon. It is so wonderful to have your support.

We are authors and illustrators

We are currently writing a story for our Room 10 buddy. Have have looked at many different authors and illustrators. We really enjoyed listening to Dallas Clayton and how he got his ideas. Then we listened to him reading his book: An Awesome Book. Here it is.
